I hate to say this, but I am glad that Michael Milken went to jail.
Sometimes jail time changes a person.
I have linked an article from Bloomberg here called The Reincarnation of Mike Milken.
After serving time in jail and a bout with cancer Michael Milken has realized what life is about.
Its about helping other people, especially when one has the means to do so.
The article by Richard Verrier from The LA Times details the a report by The Milken Institute which is titled Film Flight: Lost Production And Its Economic Impact On California.
Here is another article on the same topic from The Hollywood Reporter by Paul Bond.
Another one by Dave McNary from Variety.
I list all of these writers articles because it is important for all of you subscribers to this list to forward the link to Shootmoviesincalifornia.com to all your friends and neighbors that are in the business but also and almost more importantly to your friends and family that are  not in the movies business.
Ask all your friends to subscribe to our blog, all they have to do is drop their email address in the box on the front page and they will be informed about what is going on and what they can do to help so they don’t lose their job’s and they do not have to move to another state like some of the filmmakers that we know.
We are all affected by what is going on in California, we all have a part to play in the solution of this problem of runaway production.
I don’t know about you all, but moving from California is not in my game plan.
Thanks and please pass on the link to this article so that people can visit our site.
Thanks,
