Interesting...I met Mr. Cromwell during the Sundance Film Festival some years back, and we chatted for some time on the shuttle bus. I served many years on the SAG Board, both as President and Board Member from the Utah Branch. And tho, I fought, and did fight for filming in my state...we all must remember that Hollywood is the mother of this industry. I deeply feel there must be one place that is the heart of entertainment in film and tape and Hollywood is that place...NYC for stage is the heart of live, and like film, there are any number of other cities and states where the entertainment is shared and performed...but there has to be that center of focus. I have always had great respect for James (besides being a namesake) and pray he and other reasonable members of the guild keep fighting for our inherited rights as entertainers.
