How Can You Help Pass “The Happy Cow Bill” (AB 1778) Authored By Assemblyman Ted Lieu? Read Below
THIS IS A 3RD UPDATE ON THIS POSTING:
The Senator’s listed below are members of the Senate GO Committee and “The Happy Cow Bill”  (AB 1778) will be heard in this committee on JUNE 29TH and that is why calls and faxes need to go BEFORE JUNE 29TH which is this coming Tuesday.
Also–if this bill passes through this committee it might need to go through another Senate Committee and then will have to go to the full Senate for a vote–so it is quite a ways away from getting to the Governor’s Desk.  ”I just don’t want folks to think that if this passes this one committee, the advocacy work is done. The advocacy work is really just beginning.”
SO TELL EVERYONE TO CALL THESE SENATORS AND KEEP WHAT WORK WE CAN HERE IN CALIFORNIA !

I will provide you with the phone numbers of the Senator’s that will vote on “The Happy Cow Bill” bill going to Arnold’s desk; below.
This bill will make it AGAINST THE LAW TO FILM A COMMERCIAL FOR A CALIFORNIA PRODUCT OUTSIDE  THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA !
The vote will take place on June 22nd , so we have to act NOW !
It’s halfway there already !
It passed through the Assembly with all Yea’s and no Nay’s !
Here is how it all started:
Back in November, this article in The LA Times by Richard Verrier told the story of The Happy California Cows  Cheese Commercials leaving  the State of California, and The Good Ole USA for New Zealand to do some of their commercials.
Well this article was spotted by the staff of Assemblyman Ted Lieu and brought to Ted’s attention.
Assemblyman Lieu had the same reaction that most people living in California and the United States had.
That reaction being:
ARE YOU KIDDING ME! HOW CAN YOU SHOOT A COMMERCIAL FOR CALIFORNIA CHEESE IN NEW ZEALAND !

I purposely did not put their emails.
We need to call them and fax them.
If you cannot get through on the phone for some reason, then fax them before June 22nd, telling them that they have to pass this bill !
And if your fax does not get through for some reason, all of their names are linked to their websites.
If you leave a message, state that you are calling to have the Senator’s support “The Happy Cow Bill” or AB 1778
Call Arthur Terzakis first and tell him that you want to support this bill.
