Film Works LA!

Glenn Gainor From Sony/Screen Gems, Michael Robbin and Greer Shepard From The Show “Nip/Tuck” and Louis D’Esposito, Exec. Producer of “Iron Man and “Iron Man 2″ Honored At City Hall In Los Angeles For Keeping Film Work In California

Richard Verrier wrote a great article about how the Los Angeles City Council handed out awards to the men mentioned above.

For those of you that do not think that the ShootMoviesInCalifornia.com effort is working, look again.

Its working.

The politicians do care and they have heard us and want to help to make a difference.

We can make a difference!.

Click on LA Times Article here.

Speaking of making a difference, read below about this great documentary on ESPN.

Its part of the 30 for 30 series that ESPN Films has done.

I saw it last night in my hotel room in Livonia,Michigan ( yes I am shooting in Michigan right now).

It’s called  The Band That Wouldn’t Die.

This documentary is about the Baltimore Colts Marching Band and what they did when the Baltimore Colts organization tried to secretly leave Baltimore in the middle of the night to move the team to Indianapolis.

Its a great story about a group of people that stayed together for 12 years until the NFL brought a new team to Baltimore.

Here is the link to ESPN where you can watch the documentary by Barry Levinson.

Please watch this documentary, it will prove how a small group of motivated people can make changes.

Thanks.
